I’m glad you’re here! Welcome to my stop on the Cardmaker Magazine & Spellbinders Blog Hop. You should have gotten here by way of Yana’s blog, but in case you missed a stop, the full hop list can be found at the CardMaker Blog.

The wonderful crew at Spellbinders sent out a set from the September Large Die of the Month Club for us to create with, and I immediately loved the corner die in the set. It looks like a little tiara 🙂

Of course, I had to dip it in Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it with a heat tool. I added some Swarovski™ crystals since no self-respecting tiara would be seen without a little “bling”.

I like using crystals more than adhesive gems. They are a little pricey, but I don’t use them often and they are super sparkly. I adhered them to the tiara with a few dabs of Glossy Accents, then added the piece to the card front with Foam Squares.

Next, I picked out a sentiment from Choose Joy by Papertrey Ink. Since the wording was small with fine lines, I stamped the image with VersaFine Ink in Onyx Black so they would be nice and crisp.

The paper I used is called Royal Sundance Felt cardstock. It’s 110lb weight so it can be used for panels as well as bases. The texture is amazing and looks great on a card with a lot of white space. I adhered my finished panel to an A2 card base. I love how soft and feminine this card came out 🙂
