Feel Better With a Die Cut Corner & Sequins

Have you seen those dies from Memory Box that you can use to create a die cut corner? They just scream wedding and silver glitter! But today, I used one to decorate the edge of a “get well” card.

This is roughly a 30-minute card, but only because of the watercolor. If you left the corner as is, spritzed the white background with a Sparkle Spray and used only sequins for the color pop, these are super fast and easy to replicate.

To start, I die cut the bottom left corner of a white 5.5 x 4.25-inch piece of white cardstock. Then, I ran it through a second time with my Emboss & Transfer Set to really get a good impression of the flowers. Next, I colored the flowers with Nuvo Aqua Flow Brush Pens and spritzed them with water to get a more diffused look.

I stamped the sentiment in Versafine ink and mixed a little of it with some water off to the side of my card. With my paintbrush, I picked up the diluted ink and tapped a few spatters over the front of the card.

Then it was just a matter of rounding the top right corner with a Corner Chomper and adhering the panel to the card base.

On the center of each flower, I put a few dabs of clear Wink of Stella over the leaves for a little sparkle. And to finish off, I added a sprinkling of PPP rose gold sequins around the card front.  I love the color of the sequins!

I’m so happy you came by to check out this cute little die cut corner! Don’t forget to share the love by pinning to Pinterest & have a lovely day!
