Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop Challenge
Howdy! I have a card to share with you tonight! My inspiration comes from the Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop photo:
Don’t you just LOVE those colors?! The ice pops reminded me of an ink blend technique, so I broke out the trusty Distress Inks and went to town.
It’s simply ink blended across my card front, along with a splatter of water to break up the bands of color. Before I inked, though, I stamped the sentiment (Calligraphy Classics, Papertrey Ink) in Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to create an area that would resist the ink. Then all I had to do was wipe it clean after I added all the color.
The little white pearls you see are Tonic Nuvo Crystal Drops on Gloss White. I just love the stuff since the product always settles into a perfect little ball!
